Yoga Guidelines

Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before class begins to sign-in and get ready for
class.  If the studio door is closed, please try to be quiet as another class is still in
session.
 The door will open when the class has ended.


Please turn all cell phones off prior to entering the studio.  Please refrain from wearing
any fragrances as many people are sensitive.

It is recommended that you bring your own yoga mat; however yoga mats are available
at the studio for students use free of charge.  Please be considerate and return any
mats or props to their shelves after class.

Yoga is practiced bare foot.  Clothing should be comfortable and non-binding.  

Fitted t-shirts, shorts or yoga clothing are best.  A change area within the studio is
available for you to store outer clothing, shoes and belongings during class time.

Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.  It is advised to wait at least 2 hours after
meals before class.  If you are attending Prenatal Yoga please listen to how your body
feels and modify accordingly.
 Prenatal clients are encouraged to bring a water bottle.


Please inform your teacher if you are pregnant or if you have any injuries, high blood
pressure, or have had recent surgery.

If you must leave class early, please end your practice early and rest a few minutes in
savasana.  Please avoid leaving during the practice of savasana as it is disruptive to
your classmates.
